Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, the Project Manager, as a member of the management team provides overall direction, leadership, supervision, management and strategic vision to a team of expert members/employees assigned to a specific project. The Project Manager will assemble, coordinate and supervise the team of expert employees who are selected from either the internal staff of the Department or, newly hired external candidates, as may be required, to provide project support services for projects from start to finish. The nature and extent of the project support will include, but not be limited to coordinating information, providing support through data analysis, and contributing to overall strategy and performance evaluation. The Project Manager will utilize an array of applications for project management to monitor team collaboration, time tracking, chart drawing, etc. They will supervise, direct and consult with team members at every phase of the project, overseeing the individual tasks assigned, in order to ensure that the team members work to meet the stated objectives for a successful project delivery.
