Introductory Transportation Impact Study (TIS) Workshop (ONLINE WORKSHOP)

The OTC is offering a two-half day interactive (introductory to intermediate level) Transportation Impact Study (TIS) training, led by industry experienced expert instructors. This course is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas with your transportation colleagues from across Ontario in solving interactive TIS scenarios.
The TIS workshop is designed to be of benefit to people with some experience preparing or reviewing TIS studies.  The course is designed for municipal staffs reviewing TIS materials, and consultants who conduct and prepare TIS studies and make recommendations.

This workshop will help to identify the additional traffic contribution of a particular site development and provide a basis for estimating roadway improvements attributed to a proposed development to maintain a satisfactory level of service, while ensuring that the recommendations are compatible with the local jurisdiction’s road policy.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY –
OTC’s cancellation policy has been amended temporarily to provide flexibility for in-person events due to COVID-19.

  • Should a registrant decide to cancel attendance at an in-person event based on concerns around health or travel during the COVID-19 situation, OTC will provide a credit to the registrant should they cancel for this reason. Rescheduling to another event will be charged an admin fee of $75. Substitutions within 2 business days at no cost.
  • If a registrant would like to cancel and require a refund, the registration fee less 50% will be refunded.
  • If OTC must cancel an event, a full refund will be issued to registrants.
