Technical Traffic Operations Course

NOTE: This online course runs from 8AM-12PM daily from October 26-November 6, as well as from November 16-27. Week of November 9-13 will have no classes.

The course spans the full range of key areas from characteristics of the transportation system, analysis of flow and capacity, traffic operations, traffic control devices, pedestrian/bicycle facilities, to collision data analysis and Intelligent Transportation Systems.  The course curriculum is regularly updated to address current practices and new issues and is instructed by a team of expert practicing engineers, academics and other senior professionals.

Students gain a solid, comprehensive understanding of the principles, and working concepts of all major areas of traffic engineering as they are practiced today.  At the end of the course, students should be able to review a traffic issue and determine possible approaches to solve the problem.

The fee for this course is $1275 + HST.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY –
OTC’s cancellation policy has been amended temporarily to provide flexibility for in-person events due to COVID-19.

  • Should a registrant decide to cancel attendance at an in-person event based on concerns around health or travel during the COVID-19 situation, OTC will provide a credit to the registrant should they cancel for this reason. Rescheduling to another event will be charged an admin fee of $75. Substitutions within 2 business days at no cost.
  • If a registrant would like to cancel and require a refund, the registration fee less 50% will be refunded.
  • If OTC must cancel an event, a full refund will be issued to registrants.
