Overview
This workshop covers all types of environmental assessments for transportation projects including provincial, municipal and conservation authority environmental assessments.  The interrelationship between these environmental assessments, criteria that triggers them and various aspects of each of these environmental assessments is also included.

An overview of processes and framework required for these environmental assessments are included in the workshop.  Real life examples from various case studies are included to make it informative and interesting.

This workshop will take place over two 1/2 days from October 7-8, 2020.

This workshop is intended for the following professionals who are either new to environmental assessment or are interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the environmental assessment process:

  • Highway / Roadway Designers
  • Other professionals who interact with EAs (Land use Planners, Environmental Planner, etc.)
  • Transportation Consultants involved in EAs
  • Other specialized experts (e.g. natural environment specialists, biologists, archeologists, built and cultural heritage specialists, and others) who gets involved in EA studies, to understand how their components fits in overall EA realm

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY –

OTC’s cancellation policy has been amended temporarily to provide flexibility for in-person events due to COVID-19.

  • Should a registrant decide to cancel attendance at an in-person event based on concerns around health or travel during the COVID-19 situation, OTC will provide a credit to the registrant should they cancel for this reason. Rescheduling to another event will be charged an admin fee of $75. Substitutions within 2 business days at no cost.
  • If a registrant would like to cancel and require a refund, the registration fee less 50% will be refunded.
  • If OTC must cancel an event, a full refund will be issued to registrants.
